Tech died in 18 BBY.
Tech was the brains of Clone Force 99, the Bad Batch: a clone whose deliberate mutations gave him an extraordinary intellect, making him the squad's slicer, engineer, pilot of the Marauder and constant source of statistics nobody asked for. Late in the Clone Wars he helped uncover the Separatists' theft of Rex's battle algorithm on Anaxes, rescued Echo from the Techno Union on Skako Minor and helped turn the tide of the Republic's campaign. When Order 66 came, his inhibitor chip failed to activate. He was the first to work out why the regular clones had turned on the Jedi. Along with Hunter, Wrecker, Echo and the young clone Omega, he deserted the new Empire and left Crosshair behind. As fugitives and mercenaries working for Cid on Ord Mantell, he forged chain codes, raced riot racers, survived the destruction of Tipoca City and helped expose the Empire's secret clone program. Beneath his literal manner lay real loyalty, and he told Omega that thinking differently did not mean he felt any less. During a raid on the Imperial summit at Raven's Peak on Eriadu, Tech stayed behind on a failing tram line so his brothers could escape, and he fell to his death.

Grown in Tipoca City as clone CT-9902 from Jango Fett's template. In Nala Se's private laboratory his mutations are enhanced, giving him an exceptional intellect.

Serves as the computer, technology and weapons specialist of the experimental Bad Batch alongside Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair, on missions across the war including Felucia.
19 BBY - Insurrection on Yalbec Prime
Helps the squad put down an insurrection before being redeployed to the struggling Anaxes campaign.
19 BBY - Battle of Anaxes
With Rex, Jesse and Kix, infiltrates a Separatist Cyber Center. There he discovers that Rex's strategy algorithm is being fed to the enemy from Skako Minor.
19 BBY - Rescue of Echo on Skako Minor
Talks to the Poletecs in their own language, tracks Echo's signal to Purkoll and disconnects him from the Techno Union's machinery. He then summons keeradaks so the group can escape.
19 BBY - Victory at Anaxes
Disguises Echo's transmissions aboard Admiral Trench's dreadnought, helping trick the Separatist fleet into defeat. He turns down the medals offered, and Echo joins the squad.
19 BBY - Kaller and Order 66
Fights alongside Depa Billaba and Caleb Dume on Kaller. When Order 66 is issued, his inhibitor chip fails to activate. He relays the order's meaning to his squad.
19 BBY - Rise of the Empire on Kamino
Explains to the squad how the regular clones' programming differs from theirs. He meets Omega and determines from her DNA that she is also an enhanced clone.
19 BBY - Onderon and desertion
Refuses Tarkin's order to kill Saw Gerrera's civilians. He breaks out of the Kamino brig with his squad and Omega, then flies the Marauder away while Crosshair stays loyal to the Empire.
19 BBY - Fugitives on Saleucami
Forges Imperial chain codes so Cut Lawquane's family can escape off-world. Omega chooses to stay with the Batch.
19 BBY - Ordo Moon and Pantora
Starts building an inhibitor chip scanner, makes repairs while an Ordo Moon dragon prowls outside, and scrambles the Marauder's signature on Pantora while Fennec Shand hunts Omega.
19 BBY - Mercenaries for Cid
Becomes a mercenary for Cid on Ord Mantell. He takes jobs across the galaxy, including piloting a riot racer to earn a coaxium payout.
19 BBY - Fall of Tipoca City
Returns to Kamino to rescue Hunter and survives the Empire's destruction of Tipoca City. The squad escapes with Nala Se's clone data.
~19-18 BBY - Life on the run
Keeps taking missions for Cid, and on one of them grows close to the pirate Phee Genoa. He finds the island world of Pabu as a possible refuge and helps Senator Riyo Chuchi investigate the Empire's treatment of clones.
18 BBY - Death on Eriadu
Infiltrates Raven's Peak during the Imperial summit to find Dr. Royce Hemlock and Crosshair. As the squad's tram fails, he cuts himself loose so his brothers can escape, and falls into the chasm below.
