Sabine Wren is a human Mandalorian warrior, artist, and revolutionary from Clan Wren of House Vizsla, born in 21 BBY. A former cadet at the Imperial Academy on Mandalore, she defected after realizing the weapons she designed would be turned against her own people, and became "Spectre 5," the weapons and explosives expert of the Ghost crew during the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire. A gifted graffiti artist, her painted starbird came to inspire the symbol of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. She wielded the ancient Darksaber after taking it from Maul and trained with it under Kanan Jarrus despite having no notable Force sensitivity, ultimately surrendering it to Bo-Katan Kryze to unite the Mandalorian clans against Imperial rule. After the liberation of Lothal and the disappearance of Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn, she dedicated herself to finding her lost friend, later training as Ahsoka Tano's Padawan. In the Ahsoka era she helped track Thrawn's return and became stranded with Ahsoka in the distant galaxy of Peridea.
