Phasma was the chrome-armored enforcer of the First Order's stormtrooper corps, a survivor who treated loyalty as a tool and betrayal as a way to climb. She grew up on a ruined, radiation-scarred world and, as a teenager, became war leader of the Scyre clan alongside her brother Keldo, whom she had already crippled while arranging the deaths of their parents. When General Brendol Hux crash-landed near her people, she saw her way off-planet. She guided him across the wastes, abandoned her clan, and killed Keldo when he came after her. In the First Order she rose quickly to captain and took over training its adult recruits. She forged her armor from the plating of Palpatine's old yacht. Working with Armitage Hux, she poisoned her patron Brendol, silenced the young recruit Frey, and left her rival Cardinal for dead, which secured her a place beside Hux and Kylo Ren at the top of the Order. She led the massacre at Tuanul on Jakku that drove FN-2187 to defect. When he returned to Starkiller Base with Han Solo and Chewbacca, they forced her at gunpoint to lower the base's shields. She survived its destruction and framed another officer for the breach. Months later, aboard the crippled Supremacy, she faced the renegade again, now called Finn. He beat her, and she fell into the flames consuming the ship.

6 ABY - Birth on Parnassos
Born into a small, struggling clan living around the Nautilus on the devastated world of Parnassos, with her older brother Keldo.
~22 ABY - Betrayal of Her Family
Conspires with the rival Scyre clan to have her parents and family killed. She stabs Keldo to keep him out of the fight, and the two siblings are taken into the Scyre.
~22 ABY - Co-Leader of the Scyre
At sixteen, defeats the usurper Porr in combat after the Scyre leader Egil is mortally wounded. She becomes the clan's military leader, while Keldo leads it politically.
~24 ABY - War with the Claws
Drives off a night raid by Balder's Claws. Keldo then pushes through a truce against her wishes, and the siblings become enemies.
~24 ABY - Meeting Brendol Hux
Finds the stranded First Order general Brendol Hux among the Claws, kills Balder, and offers to guide Hux back to his downed ship.
~24 ABY - Trek Across Parnassos
Steals her clan's supplies and crosses the wastes with Hux, his stormtroopers and her warriors. On the way they survive venomous beetles, forced labor at Terpsichore Station and the arena of the Arratu, where she kills the Arratu and his jailer Vrod.

At Hux's ship in the irradiated dead lands, fights off Keldo's combined Scyre and Claw force, then shoots her brother dead. She takes the child Frey with her and leaves Siv behind.
~24 ABY - Joining the First Order
Picked up by Armitage Hux. From orbit, Brendol destroys her former home to show the First Order's power. She begins training aboard the Star Destroyer Absolution as Brendol's new protégé and bodyguard.
~25 ABY - Captain and Chrome Armor
Makes captain within a year and returns to Parnassos to strip chromium plating from Palpatine's old yacht, forging her signature armor at Cleo Station.
~34 ABY - Murder of Brendol Hux
Poisons her patron with a Parnassos beetle at Armitage Hux's direction. She also arranges the death of the cadet Frey to bury her past.
34 ABY - Duel with Cardinal
Her rival Cardinal learns her history from the captured spy Vi Moradi and attacks her. She defeats him and leaves him for dead, taking full control of stormtrooper training.

Directs Agent Terex's hunt for Poe Dameron and struggles to rein him in when he goes rogue.
