Marrok died in 9 ABY.
Marrok is best known as the silent, armored duelist who fought Ahsoka Tano twice during Morgan Elsbeth's plot to bring back Grand Admiral Thrawn. He was raised in the Jedi Order, but after the Jedi Purge he became an Inquisitor for the Empire under the title First Brother. He knelt before Darth Vader when the Inquisitorius was presented to its new master on Nur. A few years later, he and the Eleventh Brother hunted Maul and the fugitive Jedi Eeko-Dio Daki and Devon Izara across Janix. Using his rare gift of psychometry, he tracked his prey and met Maul blade to blade more than once, until Daki pushed him off a ruined structure into the jungle. He survived the fall of the Empire and became a mercenary for Elsbeth, working alongside Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati. In 9 ABY he held off Ahsoka at the Corellian shipyards while Elsbeth's forces stole a hyperdrive core. He then flew with Hati against Ahsoka's shuttle over Seatos. In the forests below, Ahsoka struck him down. His armor released a shrieking green mist and collapsed empty, which left his true nature a mystery. Decades later, historians could not agree whether the figure in the Corellian recordings had really been an Inquisitor.

Before 19 BBY - Member of the Jedi Order
Marrok is raised in the Jedi Order. The dates of his birth and his time as a Jedi are not recorded in canon.
19 BBY - Becomes the First Brother
After Order 66, Marrok is chosen for the Inquisitorius and given the title First Brother. His job is to hunt the Jedi who survived the Purge.
19 BBY - Presented to Darth Vader
In the Fortress Inquisitorius on Nur, he kneels with the Eleventh Brother, the Fourth Sister and Barriss Offee as the Grand Inquisitor presents them to their new master, Darth Vader.
~18 BBY - The Hunt for Maul on Janix
After Janix's Tactical Defense Force calls in the Empire, the First Brother arrives and interrogates Chief Klyce and Captain Brander Lawson. He then uses psychometry to read the aftermath of Maul's fight with two hidden Jedi.
~18 BBY - Clashes with Daki, Izara and Maul
He attacks Eeko-Dio Daki and Devon Izara at Lawson's home. He later chases Izara onto a hovertrain, where Maul joins the fight and the two cut him loose in a tunnel. He reports to Vader that Maul is more dangerous than expected.
~18 BBY - Duel with Maul Beside the Eleventh Brother
Joined by the Eleventh Brother, he duels Maul in the caverns of Janix, and the two Inquisitors kill the Nightbrother Scorn. Maul escapes by bringing the cave down on them, and they are pulled from the rubble.
~18 BBY - Chase Across Janix
He survives an ambush that goes wrong when the informant Rheena Sul turns on the Empire. He follows the fugitives across the city, destroys Maul's droid Spybot during a duel over a lake of acid, and warns Vader that the group is headed his way.
~18 BBY - Defeated by Eeko-Dio Daki
In jungle ruins, he and the Eleventh Brother corner Izara, then fight her and Daki together. Daki pushes the First Brother off the ruins into the jungle, but he survives.
9 ABY - Mercenary for Morgan Elsbeth
Now a mercenary, Marrok serves Morgan Elsbeth alongside Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati. He searches the ruins on Arcana with Skoll for the star map to Peridea.
9 ABY - Duel on Corellia
At the Santhe Shipyards, he duels Ahsoka Tano with the help of an HK-87 assassin droid while Elsbeth's forces steal a hyperdrive core for the Eye of Sion. Shin Hati picks him up once the transport has escaped.
9 ABY - Dogfight in the Denab System
Flying his Fiend fighter in Hati's squadron, he attacks Ahsoka's T-6 shuttle and chases it through a pod of purrgil down to Seatos.
9 ABY - Death on Seatos
Sent with Hati to delay Ahsoka and Sabine Wren in the forest, Marrok duels Ahsoka a final time and is cut down. Green mist bursts from his armor, which collapses empty.
35 ABY - An Uncertain Legacy
In The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, the historian Beaumont Kin studies the Corellian security recordings and cannot confirm whether the armored figure was a real Inquisitor.
