Hunter
Hunter led Clone Force 99, the genetically modified commando squad the rest of the clone army called the Bad Batch, and his defining choice was to protect his squad and a lost child instead of obeying the Empire. His mutation gave him heightened senses, letting him track movement and electromagnetic signals no ordinary trooper could detect. As a sergeant in the last year of the Clone Wars, he and his men helped Captain Rex and Anakin Skywalker retake Anaxes and rescue the long-lost ARC trooper Echo from the Techno Union on Skako Minor, and Echo then joined the squad. Because of their mutations, most of the Batch were unaffected by the inhibitor chips, and when Order 66 came on Kaller, Hunter let the Padawan Caleb Dume escape. Back on Kamino, he refused an Imperial order to wipe out civilians on Onderon and rescued the young clone Omega, which led the squad to desert. Crosshair, whose chip still worked, stayed loyal to the Empire. Hunter spent the next years on the run with Omega, taking mercenary work from Cid, losing Tech, and finally storming the secret Imperial facility on Mount Tantiss to free her and the other captive clones. Afterward he settled on the island of Pabu as Omega's father figure, and he lived to see her grow up and leave to join the rebellion.

22–19 BBY - Leading the Bad Batch
Serves as sergeant of Clone Force 99 alongside Wrecker, Tech and Crosshair. The squad keeps a perfect mission record but has a reputation for unorthodox methods, which includes the mission against Doctor Krail's modified droids on Hylanth.
19 BBY - Battle of Anaxes
Commander Cody recalls the squad from an insurrection on Yalbec Prime. Hunter leads the raid on the Separatist Cyber Center with Captain Rex, and the raid reveals that Echo is alive and being used by the Separatists.
19 BBY - Rescue of Echo on Skako Minor
Hunter joins Rex and Anakin Skywalker, wins over the Poletecs and helps free Echo from Wat Tambor's tower in Purkoll.
19 BBY - Anaxes liberated
The squad infiltrates Admiral Trench's flagship so that Echo can shut down the droid army. Afterward Hunter invites Echo to join the Bad Batch.
19 BBY - Order 66 on Kaller
The squad reinforces Depa Billaba's troops. When the clones turn on the Jedi, Hunter is unaffected, lets Caleb Dume escape and tells Crosshair the Padawan fell into a ravine.
19 BBY - Rise of the Empire
On Kamino, Hunter witnesses the Proclamation of the New Order and meets Omega. After refusing to attack civilians on Onderon, he returns to rescue her. The squad escapes Imperial custody without Crosshair, and the Batch deserts.
19 BBY - Mercenaries for Cid
From their base on Ord Mantell, Hunter leads the squad on jobs for the broker Cid while evading the Empire and Crosshair. That year Tipoca City is destroyed, and Hunter and Crosshair nearly die with it.
18 BBY - Loss of Tech
During a raid on an Imperial train over Eriadu, Tech is killed and Omega is captured and taken to Mount Tantiss.
18 BBY - Refuge on Pabu
Hunter and Wrecker hide on Pabu and search for Omega. He is captured, and the Empire's clone experiments come to light.
18 BBY - Assault on Mount Tantiss
Reunited with Crosshair and Omega, Hunter helps free the captive clones and children and brings down the facility.
After 18 BBY - Life on Pabu
Hunter settles on the island with Wrecker, Crosshair and Omega, where he raises her as a father figure and his hair turns grey.
