Chopper
C1-10P, better known as "Chopper" or simply "Chop," is a cantankerous masculine C1-series astromech droid built by Industrial Automaton and one of the longest-serving members of the Ghost crew. Originally a navigational astromech in the Galactic Republic Navy during the Clone Wars, he was shot down over Ryloth in a Y-wing and salvaged by a young Hera Syndulla, who rebuilt him from mismatched parts — the origin of his patchwork frame and famously abrasive personality. Chopper aided the Free Ryloth movement, then became Hera's inseparable companion aboard the VCX-100 light freighter Ghost, maintaining the ship and serving as gunner, slicer, saboteur and reluctant undercover agent for the Spectres rebel cell alongside Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, Garazeb Orrelios and Sabine Wren. Despite a well-earned reputation for pranks, grumbling and outright malice toward strangers, he proved decisive again and again — infiltrating Imperial facilities, flying stolen craft, and surviving the rebellion's hardest losses. The Rebel Alliance's Atollon headquarters, Chopper Base, was named in his honor. He fought through the liberation of Lothal, was present at Yavin 4 during the Scarif crisis and at the Battle of Endor, later joined Sabine Wren's long search for the missing Ezra Bridger, and remained at Hera's side into the New Republic era.

Chopper serves aboard Hera's VCX-100 light freighter Ghost as she meets Kanan Jarrus during the events on Gorse, becoming the ship's permanent — and permanently grumpy — maintenance droid.

Chopper is part of the rebel cell that harasses Imperial operations on Lothal and takes in the young street thief Ezra Bridger, flying missions, slicing Imperial systems and pulling pranks on the crew throughout.

The Spectres join the wider rebel network; Chopper takes part in supply raids, rescues and infiltrations, often disguised or posing as an Imperial droid.
3 BBY - Chopper Base
The rebels establish a headquarters on Atollon, nicknamed Chopper Base in his honor after he helps clear the site. He survives the Empire's devastating assault there.
2 BBY - Undercover and in the field
Chopper repeatedly infiltrates Imperial installations, including a stint aboard an Imperial vessel where his rough manners nearly expose the crew.

Chopper takes part in the final campaign to free Lothal, aboard the Ghost as Ezra Bridger vanishes into hyperspace with Grand Admiral Thrawn and the purrgil.
