Bib Fortuna
Bib Fortuna died in 9 ABY.
For decades Bib Fortuna was the pale, whispering gatekeeper at Jabba the Hutt's side. As Jabba's majordomo he ran the daily business of the Tatooine palace and decided who got to see the crime lord, while secretly hating his master and waiting for a chance to kill him and take over his empire. He had grown rich selling fellow Twi'leks into slavery, and he beat his rival Bidlo Kwerve for the majordomo job. He held the post by the time of the 32 BBY Boonta Eve Classic, where he woke a dozing Jabba for the end of Anakin Skywalker's winning race. In the early days of the Empire he paid Cid to recover the young rancor Muchi, a job Clone Force 99 carried out. He also handed out work to Han Solo and Chewbacca, stood beside Jabba when Darth Vader came to hire bounty hunters, and waited impatiently for Boba Fett to deliver the frozen Han Solo. Luke Skywalker got past him with a Jedi mind trick, and he survived the destruction of the Khetanna at the Great Pit of Carkoon despite being presumed dead. He then took over Jabba's palace as a bloated crime lord in his own right. His rule ended in 9 ABY, when Boba Fett and Fennec Shand stormed the palace and Fett shot him on his throne and took it for himself.

Unknown - Early life on Ryloth
Born into the Fortuna clan, a prominent family with close ties to the criminal underworld, he gets rich as a slave trader selling fellow Twi'leks.
Before 32 BBY - Becomes Jabba's majordomo
Enters Jabba the Hutt's service and beats Bidlo Kwerve for the post of majordomo. He gives Jabba the rancor Pateesa as a birthday present, and Kwerve ends up as one of the rancor's early victims.
32 BBY - Boonta Eve Classic
Watches the podrace from Jabba's private balcony and wakes the sleeping Hutt to announce young Anakin Skywalker's victory over Sebulba.
19 BBY - Recovering Muchi
Hires Cid on Ord Mantell to rescue the young rancor Muchi from Zygerrian slavers. He threatens her over the delays, then arrives at her parlor in person just as Clone Force 99 returns with the rancor.
~8–2 BBY - Dealing with Han Solo
Hires Han Solo and Chewbacca, along with Greedo, to steal Krestrel D'Naran's urn from Corellia. He then gives up Solo's location to Marshal Buck Vancto, on the condition that Vancto waits until the job is finished.
~0 ABY - Darth Vader at the palace
Is held at lightsaber point by Darth Vader, who comes to hire bounty hunters. He is present for the Empire's negotiations with Jabba the next day, and he later threatens the mercenary Saponza on Jabba's behalf.
3 ABY - The hunt for Han Solo
Chases Boba Fett over his late delivery of the frozen Solo. He runs the palace while Jabba is away at Crimson Dawn's gathering on Jekara, and he gives in when Fett storms the palace looking for answers.
~4 ABY - Kijimi power play
Helps Zeva Bliss take control of the Spice Runners of Kijimi from her mother, Zarah.
4 ABY - Rescue of Han Solo
Brings C-3PO and R2-D2 before Jabba and falls for Luke Skywalker's mind trick. He plots to kill Jabba during the execution trip to the Great Pit of Carkoon. Jabba dies there and the Khetanna is destroyed, but Fortuna survives even though he is presumed dead.
4–9 ABY - Crime lord of Tatooine
Takes over Jabba's palace with servants and slaves of his own, and grows obese from years of overindulgence.
9 ABY - Death
After the second rescue of Grogu, Boba Fett and Fennec Shand storm the palace. Fortuna greets Fett nervously, and Fett shoots him dead and takes his throne.
